It’s been interesting, and a little trying on my patience. Setting type is a painstaking process, and doesn’t carry the same intrinsic reward for me as meticulous drawing does. Renegade days
Posted in Art, Greeting Cards, Renegade with tags Cards, Christmas, drawings, Etsy, Holiday Greetings, X-Mas on December 5, 2009 by scratchybSo far Renegade’s been going pretty smooth for me. Here’s a brand new card I drew and printed up Thursday and Friday, just in time for the weekend.
This will be added to the Old Scratch Etsy store within the next few days. You can’t tell from the picture or the card, but I used silver ink for the spines of the creature in the original drawing.
Renegade Holiday Sale

So this weekend at the Renegade Craft Fair Holiday Sale, I’ll be debuting these fellas. As of January 2010, the Odjits will appear as a regular one-panel comic on my blog.
And that’s not all that’ll be at the fair. The full volume of the Creatures of the Arboretarium will be there, as will a few other fun surprises. If you can’t show, I’ll be twittering the fair, so you can follow me that way, should you wish to be led astray.
